Terms & Conditions.

These Terms govern the use of the rialrent.it website and the rental services offered by RIAL S.r.l. ("Rial Rent"). By using the website or requesting a service you fully accept the following.

1. Identification of the provider

2. Subject of the service

Rial Rent offers the rental of luxury cars, supercars, SUVs and executive vehicles, with accessory services (chauffeur, airport delivery, long-term, event set-ups). The website serves informational and quote-request purposes: the rental contract is finalised upon signature of the specific contract and delivery of the vehicle.

3. Customer requirements

  • Valid category B driving licence.
  • Valid identity document.
  • Credit card in the name of the main driver for guarantee and payment. Debit or prepaid cards are not accepted as a guarantee.
  • Each request is assessed individually by Rial Rent based on the model and the customer's profile.

4. Booking, deposit and payment

The booking is deemed confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount. The balance is due on delivery of the vehicle. Rial Rent reserves the right to request pre-authorisation of a security deposit on the customer's credit card, of an amount varying according to the rented model.

5. Cancellations

  • Up to 7 days before delivery: full refund of the deposit.
  • From 7 to 3 days before: 50% of the deposit is withheld.
  • Less than 72 hours or failure to show up (no-show): deposit non-refundable.

For events and long-term rentals, the specific conditions set out in the signed quote apply.

6. Use of the vehicle

The customer undertakes to use the vehicle in compliance with the Highway Code, the manufacturer's instructions and the conditions of the rental contract. The following are prohibited:

  • Use on track or in competitions, except with written authorisation.
  • Sub-letting to unauthorised third-party drivers.
  • Transport of illegal, flammable or hazardous substances.
  • Leaving the permitted countries without prior authorisation.

7. Insurance, excess, liability

All vehicles are covered by third-party liability (RCA), comprehensive (Kasko), theft and fire insurance. In the event of an accident the customer is liable up to the excess limit indicated in the contract, unless the Zero Excess option is taken out. The coverage does not apply in cases of gross negligence, non-compliant use or breach of the Highway Code (e.g. driving under the influence, exceeding the speed limits allowed by the policy).

8. Fines and penalties

Administrative penalties imposed during the rental period are borne by the customer. For each notice handled by Rial Rent a processing fee of € 50.00 plus VAT will be charged.

9. Limitation of liability

Rial Rent is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or damages arising from force majeure. Rial Rent's total liability is in any case limited to the amount of the rental contract concerned.

10. Consumer's right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Art. 59, paragraph 1, letter n) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to vehicle rental contracts with a specific date or period of performance. The rights provided for by the cancellation clauses referred to in point 5 remain unaffected.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute the Court of Milan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice, for consumers, to the jurisdiction of their place of residence or elected domicile where this is mandatory under the applicable legislation.

12. ODR — Online dispute resolution

Pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013, the consumer may use the European Commission's ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
