Who provides the service

The protection activities described on these pages are carried out by a specialised protection partner. The partner states that its team has experience in the armed forces, police forces and special units and in protecting prominent individuals, with training in tactical first aid, and a method based on risk analysis before the service and on encrypted communications.

The roles are distinct. The partner carries out the protection under its own responsibility. Questions about private security and bodyguards in St. Moritz

Can I have a bodyguard on Via Serlas and in the hotels of St. Moritz?

Yes, on request. A bodyguard from the partner can stay with you on Via Serlas and in the grand hotels, under its own responsibility, while Rial Rent coordinates car and driver. The arrangements are in the proposal, to be confirmed.

Do you arrange arrival at Engadin airport in Samedan?

Yes, on request. Rial Rent coordinates the welcome at Samedan and the transfer to St. Moritz with car and driver; the partner defines the protection presence. Give us the arrival time, number of people and destination hotel.

How far in advance should I book for events on the frozen lake?

As early as possible: events on the frozen lake take place in January and February, in the height of the winter season. With more notice the partner has time to assess the risk and Rial Rent to coordinate cars and arrivals; for urgent requests, availability is checked case by case.

Can I have an official escort in Switzerland?

No, not as a service you can buy. In Switzerland, as in other European countries, a state escort is decided by the national authorities. Private protection is a different service, arranged on request with a specialised partner: it does not replace it.
