A private flight has no fixed price list: the cost comes from the aircraft, flight hours, dates and airports. Here you'll find indicative market hourly rates and estimated prices for the most requested routes, to get a sense of the scale straight away.

What affects the price
Aircraft category
A turboprop costs roughly half a light jet per hour; a long-range jet up to three or four times as much.
Positioning and empty return
If the aircraft isn't already at the departure airport, or has to return empty after dropping you off, those hours can be added to the price. For long one-way routes the cost can come close to that of a return flight.
Dates and season
July and August towards Sardinia, the Balearics and Greece, and the weeks around Christmas towards the Alps, are the busiest periods with the fewest aircraft free.
Airports and services
Airport taxes, handling, any crew overnight stay, winter de-icing and catering are added to the cost of the flight.
How to spend less
Choose the right aircraft
For four people on a one-hour route, a light jet or turboprop is enough: no need to pay for a midsize flying half-empty.
Be flexible
Moving departure by a few hours or a day can mean finding an aircraft already in the area, with no positioning cost.
Consider an empty leg
If the date and time suit you, a repositioning flight can cost far less than a flight booked on request.
Return the same day
If you come back the same day, the aircraft waits for you and doesn't have to fly back empty twice.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price per person?
No: you pay for the aircraft, not the seat. The same flight costs the same with two or eight passengers, within the seats available.
Are the prices shown final?
No, they're estimates based on average market rates. The final price is the one in your quote, which depends on the aircraft available, the date and the services requested.
What's usually included?
The quote covers the flight with crew and fuel and, as a rule, airport taxes and handling; any extras such as special catering, a crew overnight stay or de-icing are shown separately.
Is a one-way flight worth it?
If the aircraft finds another flight straight away, yes; otherwise the empty return can add to the price. That's why, where possible, we also offer empty legs and aircraft already positioned near you.

Rial Rent organises the flight for you as an intermediary: every flight is operated by an airline holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) under Regulation (EU) 965/2012. The name of the airline operating your flight is given to you before confirmation, as required by Regulation (EC) 2111/2005.
