Ferrari described it as the most powerful convertible able to combine a hard top, a generous boot and two seats behind, and this example is the original Portofino, not the later M. The 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 600 hp and 760 Nm, with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive: 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and over 320 km/h. The roof opens in 14 seconds and turns a touring coupé into a seafront spider. The bordeaux of the leather, set against the black, gives the cabin a warm, lounge-like tone. The road is that of the Tigullio: from Rapallo to Santa Margherita Ligure, then along the coast to the village that gave it its name, with the luggage in the boot.
