Ferrari 812 GTS in Verbier.
Red Ferrari 812 GTS: the first series-production front-engined V12 spider since the 365 GTS4 of 1969, arriving fifty years later. The 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 800 hp and 718 Nm, entrusted to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive alone: 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h. The retractable hard top folds away in 14 seconds; closed, the line remains that of a berlinetta. This example pairs the red with grey multi-spoke wheels and yellow calipers, the most classic combination you could ask of a Ferrari. Its stage is the Moyenne Corniche, from Nice towards the Principality: sweeping curves high above the sea, then the descent into Monte-Carlo and the arrival in Place du Casino, with the roof down to hear the V12 bounce between the buildings.

The drive we recommend
From Verbier towards Grand-Saint-Bernard: 52 km along the route du Grand-Saint-Bernard, through Orsières and Bourg-Saint-Pierre. This is where the Ferrari 812 GTS is at its best — long bends, good surface and room enough to feel what it can do without having to rush.
When to come
