Driving the Mercedes V250d in Portofino
Where we deliver
In Portofino we deliver wherever you are: at the Genova general aviation terminal, to your hotel — Splendido A Belmond Hotel or Eight Portofino — or to the villa door. The car arrives in an enclosed trailer or with one of our drivers, unbranded: whoever sees you arrive sees only the car.
The drive we recommend
From Portofino towards golfo del Tigullio: 22 km along the Aurelia panoramica, through Santa Margherita and Rapallo. This is where the Mercedes V250d is at its best — long bends, good surface and room enough to feel what it can do without having to rush.
When to come
The best window in Portofino runs maggio-settembre. Around Portofino Trail and stagione del Tigullio demand concentrates and cars are gone weeks ahead: if those are your dates, book early.
