Mercedes V250d Extralong in Florence.
Black Mercedes V250d Extralong: 5.37 metres, eight black leather seats and a 1,410-litre boot that extends up to 5,010 litres. The 2+3+3 configuration spreads the passengers over three rows, while sliding doors and tinted rear windows make getting in comfortable and keep the second and third rows private. The trim is Avantgarde. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel of 190 hp and 440 Nm, with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive, is all about smoothness: 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 204 km/h matter less than the fluidity with which it moves through traffic. During the Salone del Mobile it is the vehicle for moving eight people between the hotels in central Milan and Fiera Milano Rho, with sample collections and bags in the boot and no second car to coordinate.

Driving the Mercedes V250d Extralong in Florence
Where we deliver
In Florence we deliver wherever you are: at the Firenze Peretola general aviation terminal, to your hotel — Four Seasons Firenze or Villa Cora — or to the villa door. The car arrives in an enclosed trailer or with one of our drivers, unbranded: whoever sees you arrive sees only the car.
The drive we recommend
From Firenze towards Chianti Classico: 55 km along the SR222 Chiantigiana, through Greve in Chianti and Panzano. This is where the Mercedes V250d Extralong is at its best — long bends, good surface and room enough to feel what it can do without having to rush.
When to come
The best window in Florence runs aprile-ottobre. Around Pitti Immagine and Mille Miglia di passaggio demand concentrates and cars are gone weeks ahead: if those are your dates, book early.
How it works
Delivery and collection in Florence are included in the quote, insurance too. The concierge stays reachable for the whole rental, out of hours as well: to move a pick-up or change an address, one message is enough.
